Alison McRae
Senior Director
Alison is a network and partnerships entrepreneur with over 20 years of economic development, communications and innovation experience. She is responsible for a strategic partnerships portfolio which seek to innovate and anticipate new opportunities for Glasgow and its business community.
She is currently facilitating a movement for change around circular economy principles in the urban economy and has overall responsibility for Developing Young Workforce Glasgow. She leads an award-winning team whose work has been recognised by World Chambers of Commerce, World Economic Forum and the Herald's Digital business awards.
Alison is a Board member of the Scottish Tourism Alliance; Glasgow City of Science & Innovation and is Co-Chair of Glasgow Employment and Skills Board.

A core member of the Circular Glasgow team, Cheryl has a passion for working with businesses to support their growth and development through the adoption of circular principles. With a particular focus on engaging with the construction and built environment sectors, and manufacturing industry, Cheryl takes an innovative approach to raise awareness, connect SMEs and identify potential opportunities for business, whilst supporting with city’s ambitions to be a leading circular city.
With an academic background in law, Cheryl previously worked in leadership development, working with businesses across all sectors to bring them together and facilitate change.

Rebecca Ricketts
Senior Project Advisor
A founding member of Circular Glasgow, Rebecca champions and encourages the adoption of circular economy principles; with the aim of informing and engaging business led change-makers. Her focus is on connecting organisations within the food, drink, event, and conference sectors; strengthening the local SME community, and capturing new ideas that will accelerate their transition to new circular models.
With a background in business development, media, marketing and PR, Rebecca believes the role of storytelling and sharing practical applications of circular models will be crucial in supporting Glasgow's ambition of positioning itself as a leading circular city.
